A group of containers showcasing my favorite new angel’s trumpet  Brugmansia ‘Super Nova’ with extremely long white trumpets just dripping with perfume in the evening hours.  Tropical companions include Coleus ‘Colleen’ and Breynia disticha nana.

Our favorite ‘thriller’ tropical, Manihot esculenta ‘Variegated’ in our entrance garden bed. Carpeting the surrounding ground in orange-y hues is Acalypha wilkesiana ‘Cypress Elf’.

We shot this container in half sun at the Kemper Center for Home Gardening ( Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis). Pictured is Coleus ‘Alabama Sunset’ under planted with New Guinea impatiens.

A contemporary look includes a mixture of succulents potted in our cosmopolitan urns. Plantings include Kalanchoe ‘Big Mama’, Tulbaghia ‘Variegated’, Oxalis ‘Francis’, Callisia repens and a variety of echeveria.

Visitors walk past tropical beds as they enter our nursery. This bed containers Pink Crystals Grass (Melinus nerviglumis), Vinca ‘Merry Go Round Red’ (a three footer!) and cleome.

Our entrance garden is packed with Talavera containers spilling over with tropicals. This group includes Agapanthus ‘Elaine’, Petunia ‘Aladdin Nautical Mixture’, agastache and salvias.

This bed in our retail area is always color themed in rose, pink and bronze. Seen here in beds:
Pennisetum ‘Jester’, Clerodendron bungei, Petunia ‘Vista Fuchsia’ and angelonia.

Our spectacular standard (topiary)  of Tecoma ‘Gold Star’, only two years old, in bloom throughout summer.  Xanthosoma ‘Lime Zinger’ lurks in the surrounding bed.
